O’Connell & Company is pleased to announce its 2010-2011 Season of Shows at Erie Community College North Campus. We carefully designed this season to find just the right combination of shows that will delight and thoroughly entertain our audiences.  Our lineup of performances is exciting, compelling & guaranteed to have something for everyone - This season, Experience O’Connell & Company!

• WORKING, September 23 - October 17, 2010 • BUFFALO ZINGS! HOT, TEDIUM & WILD!!, October 28, 29, 30 & 31, 2010

Our Season opens with Stephen Schwartz's musical WORKING, the hopes, dreams, joys and concerns of the average working American are the focus of this unique, extraordinary musical. The story is based on the Studs Terkel book and features songs by Stephen Schwartz, James Taylor, Mary Rodgers, Micki Grant, Craig Carnelia, Susan Birkenhead & Lin-Manuel Miranda. Running September 23 to October 17, WORKING is a highly original look at the American landscape that’s simply impossible to forget.

• ONCE UPON A CELTIC CHRISTMAS, December 2 - 19, 2010

The Holidays have an Irish lilt this Season with ONCE UPON A CELTIC CHRISTMAS. An original Holiday Celebration for the entire family filled with stories, music, song, dance & humor infused with Irish Christmas tales & traditions and featuring WNY’s Irish musicians & performers. Running December 2 - 19, ONCE UPON A CELTIC CHRISTMAS will make this season special for everyone on your list.

• NUNSET BOULEVARD, January 20 - February 13, 2011

What better way to start the New Year than with The Little Sisters of Hoboken? Dan Goggin's latest installment Nunsense is onstage with NUNSET BOULEVARD. Running January 20 to February 13, NUNSET BOULEVARD finds the Sisters at the Hollywood Bowl-erama” presenting their brand new variety show complete with all the Nunsense magic!

• HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD, February 24, 25, 26 & 27, 2011

• OVER THE PUB, March 17 - April 10, 2011

March comes in like a ... leprechaun?! Well, it does indeed with Tom Dudzick's new twist on “Over the Tavern”, OVER THE PUB. Dudzick has transformed his Buffalo Polish family to an Irish family in Cork while keeping all the charm, laughs and love of the original intact. This beguiling family comedy is onstage March 17 to April 10.

• MAME, May 12 - June 5, 2011

Our Mainstage Season wraps up May 12 - June 5 with Jerry Herman's charming and delightful Broadway musical classic, MAME. This production is a collaboration with Playhouse of American Classics and is presented in the chamber theatre tradition & style. There’s something for everyone inMAME – a little Christmas, a little romance and lots of life! "Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death."

• DIVA by DIVA A Celebration of Women!, ongoing on Wednesdays.

An O'Connell & Company’s season would not be complete without our acclaimed SPOTLIGHT SERIES. This year we present: BUFFALO ZINGS! HOT, TEDIUM & WILD!!  -  October 28, 29, 30 & 31, 2011 O’Connell & Company’s original bipartisan banquet of laughter, lampoonery & roasting all your favorite WNY headlines and headliners.

STORY OF DANIEL  -  November 18, 19, 20 & 21, 2011 A staged reading of an award winning film script by John Fantini, that tells the story of Daniel to find love and favor with God on his spiritual journey back from tragic loss. 

HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD  -  February 24, 25, 26 & 27, 2011 This year’s American Songbook Series is a Musical Salute to the Silver Screen.  GENTLEMEN’S GENTLEMEN  -  June 16, 17, 18 & 19, 2011 A tribute to all the Good Guys! Inspired by DIVA by DIVA, this is a cabaret-style format of songs, readings, dance, poetry, humor & quotes performed by a cast of men.
