For the Love of Belle – Bring your Mom, Grandma or Best Friend on a tour of the Martin House Complex designed from a woman’s point of view. Begin with a brunch buffet in the elegant Greatbatch Pavilion, followed by a leisurely tour of the Complex while your docent narrates the domestic life of the family who resided in this Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home. You will gain insight into the Woman of the House: Mrs. Isabelle Martin. Though “Belle” is often overlooked in re-telling the history of the Martin House, she played an important role in creating an architectural masterpiece and her love for flowers inspired the gardens designed for her. Brunch begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Greatbatch Pavilion followed by the tour from 11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. $55 for members and $60 for non-members.
